Working Principle & Complete Process
The GHL series high shear wet mixer granulator consists of a conical material bowl, main mixing paddle, high-speed granulating chopper, liquid pumping system, automatic discharging system and intelligent control system, equipped with auxiliary air inflation sealing and water cleaning systems to ensure fully enclosed, dust-free and hygienic production.The entire processing procedure is completed inside one sealed vessel: Dry Mixing → Binder Spraying & Wet Mixing → Kneading & Soft Material Forming → High-Shear Granulation → Automatic Discharging.
First, dry powder materials are loaded into the conical vessel. Driven by the main mixing paddle, powders rotate and tumble from the vessel edge to the center, forming a semi-fluid circulating state to achieve thorough and uniform dry mixing. After sufficient dry blending, the liquid binder is evenly injected via the optional liquid pumping system. The powder is gradually wetted and softened, and continuous squeezing, friction and kneading between the paddles and vessel wall forms stable liquid bridges inside the materials, turning loose powder into uniform porous soft materials.
Subsequently, the high-speed granulating chopper cuts and breaks the soft materials under semi-fluid conditions, forming fine, uniform and well-proportioned wet granules without forced extrusion. Finally, the discharge door opens automatically, and finished wet granules are pushed out by the centrifugal force of the mixing paddles.
Compared with traditional wet granulation technology, this advanced process reduces binder consumption by 25%, greatly shortens the subsequent drying time and improves overall production efficiency. The granulation quality is mainly determined by material physical properties, binder viscosity and dosage, fully covering all processing effects of traditional granulation equipment.
Advanced Sealing & Sanitary Design
The driving shaft adopts an inflation sealing structure to effectively block dust from entering the sealing cavity. There is no metal-to-metal friction between the shaft and the material bowl, completely avoiding material contamination. The sealing system supports water cleaning after operation, eliminating cross-contamination between different batches and fully complying with GMP production standards.
